The Perfect Gingham Dress For Fall

GINGHAM DRESS $17(order one size up) http://rstyle.me/n/crzd2gcat4x

Gingham is one of the prints for this Fall season. Pinterest's research has even confirmed that gingham is up 💯%. This bell sleeve gingham is perfect for Fall.
This dress is from Amazon and I’m loving how Amazon has so many cute, Fall dresses to wear that are at affordable price points. I’m all about finding dresses or tops under $50 that are of good quality and can be worn a ton. I always gravitate towards simple, loose dresses that I can easily throw on and run errands or dress up for a special date night. I’m linking a few of my favorites in the widget below – most are right around the $50 price point too!
Happy weekend everyone! Follow along on Insta stories to keep up with our weekend😀

The Life Of a Blogger & NYFW Recap

JC BOOTIES, sold out (check out the widget for other studded boots)
VERSACE BAG, similar in black HERE

Today I'm going to take you back to New York and talk little bit about the life of a blogger, the place I stayed and highlights of my trip!
Since this was my second time in New York as a blogger, I kind of knew what to expect and try not to over book myself this time. As a blogger you can easily have a full schedule with shows, parties, photo shoots, meeting with brands..etc! Most of the time you will spend your day in Uber going from one place to another and kind of forget to eat! I even got sick the second day from not eating enough and being on the go! Let me tell you, being a blogger/influencer may seem like it’s all fun, pretty clothes, and lots of free time on the books, but that’s not even the half of it! There’s an element of always having to be “on” – I don’t ever have the luxury of clocking out at 4pm. As a mom, when I'm done "mommy-ing" and my boy goes to sleep, I'm still on most of the times pass midnight.
To some people what I create appears “glamorous” that we "bloggers" must not be working hard.  I’m doing what I love, but I definitely think that some people don’t give this job the credit it deserve!
So, going back to NYC. I made sure on my last night in NYC I took a nice evening stroll, with my roomie, around Central Park! Gosh I love that place sooo much! After a nice walk, we went for a nice dinner.

My roomie and I stayed at the Hilton New York One UN Plaza, a landmark hotel across from the United Nations Headquarters and just blocks from the Empire State Building, Times Square, Rockefeller Center and other Manhattan icons with a sweeping view over the Brooklyn bridge. The pictures below is the view from our hotel. This hotel is a little pricey, but beautiful! The rooms in any hotel in NYC are small, so don't be surprised if you think you will have a palace because that's not the case in New York!

The highlight was seeing and meeting celebrities! The biggest celebrity this time was Cindy Crawford. You guys, she's gorgeous and doesn't age at all! I don't know how she does it because her skincare line didn't work for me at all! She has no wrinkles, sun spots, ..,just perfect skin. She's taller then my best friend and believe me when I say my best friend is as tall as a giraffe:)
Who knows Cortney Kerr? She was standing right across from me during Olivia Palermo's -Banana Republic presentation. Cortney has her own tv show in Dallas and was on BRAVO - Cortney Loves Dallas for one or two seasons. I love her!
I also saw Stephanie Hollman from The Real Housewives of Dallas. She's even more gorgeous then on tv! She looks younger!
And of course I mentioned Olivia Palermo in my previous post.

I hope you enjoy my post today. I still have one more day to share with you all next time!

Thank you for stopping by and reading my blog!

My booties are unfortunately already sold out, but check out the tool below for other STUDDED BOOTIES I LOVE (click the image).

MORE ASSIMETRIC DRESSES I LOVE! (click the image to shop)
Day 2 NYFW was a little easier than the first. I attended the Style Collective blogger party the night before, so my feet were hurting and I just needed an easier day. It worked out perfectly because I had a Banana Republic presentation with Olivia Palermo's new collection in the afternoon, so I was able to squeeze in time for outfit photos. I started off the day by shooting this look with my blogger friend Nelli. We wanted the perfect location and of course where else would be better than on the Brooklyn bridge! It's a nice place for photos and a beautiful relaxing walk. Perfect place to start NYFW Day 2! Then we were off to the Banana Republic presentation! Olivia's collection was absolutely perfect! (Click HERE to see her collection). Very classy, sophisticated, chic and edgy! I love every single piece of this collection plus Olivia herself is the sweetest! (Do you remember the show HILL'S? Olivia was on it and I've always loved her since then!! She's so sweet and even prettier in person (if that's even possible ).
I was wearing this pretty lace dress from Topshop and Chanel boy bag. I wanted something cute and a little different for the Banana Republic show and this dress was the right choice!
After that show, my friend and I went for a quick stroll around Central Park and then for a nice dinner.
Have a beautiful weekend everyone! Thank you for stopping by! My new Fall fashion video just went up on my YouTube channel - CLICK HERE TO WATCH😀

NYFW Day 1 Nolcha Shows (All Comes From Nothing) & Katie Gallagher

I want to share my NYFW Day 1 outfit with you!
You all know I love this top, but unfortunately it's sold out. I've linked similar tops here and here. I didn't want my feet hurt too much because I knew I had a party that night. I wore these comfortable studded Jeffrey Campbell boots and a black leather skirt from Topshop. You have no idea how many compliments I got on these boots! They're a must have for fall! If you're considering getting them go at least 1/2 or even one size bigger. I'm 7 and got 7.5, but could go even with an 8 for a little more space in them:)

Just a quick review over my first day at NYC:
I arrived on Thursday afternoon and had a Style Collective dinner with other bloggers, followed up with a blogger makeup party on the balcony.
I attended two shows the next day.
The actual fashion week Day 1!
The first show I saw was Nolcha's show called All Comes From Nothing. This show focused on Chinese simplicity and minimalism. Focuses on women with creative lifestyles! (images below) Watch short video from this show on my Instagram HERE!

Later that day I saw Katie Gallagher's presentation Rain. This collection was full of details and creativity. (images below)

I had fun at NYFW, but I'm happy to be back home with my little boy! I missed him so much! Home is home!
